Services

Three jobs. We won't sell you the wrong one.

Attic floor covered in a thick, even layer of blown fiberglass

01

Blown-in attic insulation

The usual fix. Fiberglass or cellulose across the attic floor to an even R-38. Dry, thin fill gets topped up. Wet or ruined insulation comes out first. That price is separate. After a contaminated removal, the deck gets attic sanitizing.

Roof deck between rafters coated in spray foam

02

Spray foam on the roof deck

Bonus rooms and hot roofs that should sit inside the conditioned house. Not a swap we quietly make for a blown-in top-up. Foam has a cure smell. Blown-in does not. Spray foam in West Palm Beach.

Gloved hand sealing a pipe penetration in a plywood attic floor

03

Air sealing, before the first bag

Cans, top plates, chases, bath fans, and the hatch. Fill over a leak just hides the hole. Every blown-in job starts here. Air sealing in West Palm Beach.

How a job goes

  1. 01

    Look

We measure what's there, find the wet spots, and check the hatch, the cans, and the chases.

  2. 02

    Seal

Penetrations get sealed before any insulation goes down. Fill over a leak just hides it.

  3. 03

    Install

Blown-in across the attic floor, or foam on the roof deck, to the depth we agreed on.

  4. 04

    Show you

Depth checked before we leave. You know the R-value you paid for, not a guess from the truck.

Straight answers

Who does insulation in West Palm Beach?

Cardinal Insulation of Boca Raton. Blown-in attic insulation, spray foam, insulation removal, and attic sanitizing. The shop is 4263 NW 1st Ave, Boca Raton, FL 33431. West Palm Beach is a service area — 33401, 33405, 33406, 33407, 33409, 33411, 33412, 33415, and 33417. There is no second address. Call or text (561) 654-7698.

What R-value do you install?

Florida's code minimum for these attics is R-30. Our blown-in standard is R-38. If you want R-49, the planner on this site runs the inches before you call.

Fiberglass or cellulose?

Both work on an attic floor. Fiberglass is light and the usual choice for a top-up. Cellulose packs denser. The right one depends on what is already up there and how the attic is vented.

How long does a blown-in attic take?

A typical single-family attic in West Palm Beach is one day, including the air sealing. Spray foam on a roof deck takes longer because of masking and cure time. A removal is its own day.

Will the house smell?

Blown-in fiberglass and cellulose don't have a chemical cure smell. Spray foam does while it cures. We ventilate, and we don't treat a foam job like a blown-in job. If anyone in the house is sensitive, say so before we schedule.

Do you remove the old insulation?

If it's dry and just thin, we usually seal and top it up. If it's wet, moldy, or full of rodent mess, it comes out first. Removal is its own price. It is not buried inside a top-up number.

Is the planner a quote?

No. It's a planning range from attic size, depth, and material. It does not include removal, repairs, or a hard attic. The bid is the number we give after we see it — or after you text clear photos of the hatch and the existing fill.

Do you have a West Palm Beach office?

No. The only shop is 4263 NW 1st Ave, Boca Raton, FL 33431. Listing a fake West Palm address would put the map pin in the wrong place. We drive to the house.

Tell us the attic. We'll say if it's a top-up.

Call, or send the planner. A photo of the hatch helps.
